Casa Martinez in Derby

Waited 15 minutes for drink order and chips and salsa. Had to request hot. And it stayed empty most the time. Restaurant was half empty and past dinner. Food came and there was a hair in it. Gave back food. They brought out another plate. I asked for a to go box. My dogs can eat it.

Update Jan 31st-- another scrumptious meal from this long time food establishment. Service was spot on as always. Freshly made dishes with extraordinary flavor. We've been coming here for years. One of the best of its kind. Great food, always. Great service and clean place

Everything was bland. The salsa tasted like watered down Pace picante, and our first batch of chips was stale. I got the street tacos, my husband got the fajitas and it seemed like the only seasoning used was salt. The rice was basically mush. It was also pricey compared to the most basic Mexican restaurants. I was thinking it would be more upscale when I saw the prices, but not so much. Service was okay, not great.

Casa is a great place! They have so many regulars because the staff is personable and get to know their customers. Go a few times, and you will feel at home. 💕💕

Ordered A B1 and it wasn't a b1 and the check out lady argued with me telling me it was and that's the only thing I get when I come in to Casa Martinez, I have been coming In for years, and ordering the same thing but when they argued with me at the check out about what i ordered, I will not be back.

My kids took me to dinner there last night for Mother's Day. The food was excellent as always. They we're very busy because of the Holiday. The staff was very friendly even though they were shorthanded. The food came out fast and hot. They even gave every mother a red rose for Mother's Day!!!! I recommend this restaurant to everyone that is looking for the best Mexican food. Thank you for helping make my Mother's Day a special one.

Excellent food and service! Ask for a beer with dinner. Its ICE Cold. Hot salsa for your chips. I recommend Carnitas or the Laredo. You wont be disappointed. Mama Romeys bean soup is delicious as well. Trust me on this one. Go there.

VERY GOOD PLACE TO EAT AND RELAX.

This is very good authentic Mexican food for what you pay. This place is always busy and has a great staff. The prices are reasonable. The quality of the food has always been excellent. The chips and salsa is good quality. I have been back several times and try to get various combos and haven't been disappointed yet. The only downfall is when it is busy the space could be larger so customers have more room but that's the only downfall I had.

We use to go here religiously when we loved in Derby. We have lived in OKC for 5 years amd still rave about this place. Amazing food, drinks, service. The kids called it a fancy place but it is super friendly and homey. I love the chicken tortilla soup and they have great beer. Very short weight time, amazing prices and the service is always smiling. You won't regret your trip if you like traditional Mexican dishes. Absolutely perfect. We miss it so much and plan on visiting next time we are in town.

I cant find the one thing i like here. The food is dry which is hard to do. Not much flavor. Service was mediocre but the bottled beer was ice cold.

I really thought our food was very good. I took a star because there is no ambiance and no draft beer. Staff was fast and professional.

We use to love this place, but since the kids took over, it's really gone down hill. We' try it every couple of months just to see if it's getting any better, but unfortunately it's not. Tonight was one of the worst meals I've ever had ANYWHERE, and their last chance. Too bad, it was at one time, one of our favorites.

Horrible service and the salsa tastes like straight tomatoe sauce, like they added water to make it last longer. Very sad.

It's a very good place to eat for lunch!!! Come hungry because you will get a lot of food! It was around $8 per person and we both took home half of our food! It was tasty, and the people here are friendly. We went to the tag office and then came here for lunch. We we're satisfied... If you like extra hot salsa, ask for it, It was great! The waitress kept our drinks and chips full. We will come back if we're in Derby again.

Not a big fan of the cheese. It tastes like they just cut up a big block of velveeta. Very fake tasting.

Was better when it was family owned. Usually great experience. Looks better with the walls painted and new light fixtures. Chairs could use improvement. Average prices for Authentic Mexican food. Good chips and salsa when the chips are fresh they are even better! Dessert is good too. Don't pay at table anymore.

Casa is my favorite Mexican restaurant!! The beef enchiladas with queso are the best! Friendly staff, clean, and food is always fresh!

When we have time we travel about 25 minutes just to eat here when we want good mexican food.

Authentic Mexican food, small tables good service. For the amount of food you get the prices are very reasonable! I have had better hot sauce but it was still very good.

The waitress was very good. Service was fast and the food was delicious.
